Weekend Getaway

The end of  the year is nearing and October and November are a great time to get away and relax. If you live in Rome or around Atlanta then you can get away for the weekend at a nice cozy cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. No need to burn up that precious vacation time, here are two cabin rental companies that are less than two hours from Rome.

Chatsworth Georgia is only an hour: Wilderness View Cabin Rentals has a number of luxury cabins for rent. they all have hot tubs and some even have full size pool tables. Enjoy leather furnishings and each cabin is secluded on its own acreage. The resort borders Fort Mountain State park and most of the cabins have spectacular views of the Cohutta Wilderness area. Just take GA-225 North.

Blue Ridge Georgia is less than 2 hours: Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals manages cabins for a number of owners in Blue Ridge and they are very selective about which cabins make it into their rental program. If you prefer the town of Blue Ridge then this is the place for you. It’s just under a two hour drive from Rome.

If you decide to get away let us know about your experience in the comments.
