First Friday Concert Series

August 6, 2010 is the date for the next concert in the 2010 First Friday Concert Series in historic downtown Rome at the Bridgepoint Plaza. The Infinity Show Band is the star of the evening and they are sure to show you a good time with their mix of Motown, Rhythm and Blues, and contemporary music. Show time is from 7 PM to 10 PM.

The Infinity Show Band  is an Atlanta based musical ensemble and will entertain you with their dazzling choregraphy, rich sound and fun audience participation.

The First Friday Concert Series provides quality family entertainment for free in the heart of downtown Rome and is brought to you by the Downtown Development Authority, Radio Station Q102 and the Downtown Business Improvement District. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and prepare to have a great time!

Cherokee Carvers – Tradition Renewed

The Chieftains Museum is hosting a special exhibit on the different aspects of modern work of Cherokee Carvers until August 31, 2010. Visit the museum to see the beautiful wood and stone carvings being created by artists currently working in Western North Carolina. Many pieces of art including ritual objects and functional wares will be on display.
